Somerset Lakeside Resort is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping crew this season! We’re a modern, family-owned resort located right on beautiful Paudash Lake near Bancroft, and we take pride in offering our guests the perfect mix of rustic charm and superior service. (June – September, Opportunity to extend)

RATE OF PAY: $22.89/hour + TIPS

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supervising the daily housekeeping team (training, assigning tasks, checking rooms, all that good stuff)
  • Making sure our cabins, suites, and common areas stay spotless and guest-ready
  • Pitching in with cleaning when needed – we’re a hands-on kind of place!
  • Keeping track of supplies and letting us know when we’re running low
  • Communicating with the front desk team about special requests, check-ins, and any issues that pop up
  • Helping keep a positive, hardworking vibe among the team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous housekeeping experience (bonus points if you’ve supervised a team before!)
  • OSSD or equivalent 
  • A natural leader – organized, approachable, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Someone with a great eye for detail
  • Ability to move quickly and stay cool under pressure during busy check-in days
  • Flexible availability (weekends and holidays are part of the deal)
  • Reliable transportation to and from the resort

Serve Up Summer at the Lake!

We’re looking for friendly and fun Server/Bartenders to join our team this season (June – September, Opportunity to extend) at Somerset Lakeside Resort! We’re a modern, family-run resort on beautiful Paudash Lake near Bancroft – and we like to keep things professional, relaxed, and welcoming. We take pride in offering our guests the perfect mix of rustic charm and superior service.

You’ll be working in our on-site restaurant and bar, 28 North Bar & Lounge, serving up good food, cold drinks, and great vibes to our guests – whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or the family vacation.

RATE OF PAY: $19.48/hour + TIPS 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Taking orders, serving meals and drinks, and making sure our guests have a high quality experience
  • Mixing drinks and working the bar (Smart Serve required before your first shift)
  • Handling payments and using our POS system, Clover
  • Cleaning and resetting tables, wiping down the bar – keeping things fresh
  • Helping out your team, staying upbeat, and jumping in wherever needed
  • Chatting with guests and addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Follow all health, safety, and responsible service regulations
  • Assist in opening and closing duties as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service

What We’re Looking For:

  • Some experience serving or bartending is ideal, but not required if you’re willing to learn!
  • OSSD or equivalent 
  • Smart Serve certified
  • Outgoing and great with people – you’ve got that “host with the most” energy
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to and from our cottage country destination

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Cleaning guest rooms, cabins, and common areas (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds – the works)
  • Restocking supplies and keeping an eye out for anything that needs fixing or reporting
  • Working both solo and with a team, depending on the day
  • Helping guests when needed – a friendly hello goes a long way
  • Following cleaning checklists to make sure every room meets resort standards
  • Staying flexible – some days are quieter, and some fly by with lots of check-ins

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who takes pride in a job well done and isn’t afraid of a little elbow grease
  • A team player with a great attitude – we’re big on supporting each other here
  • Able to manage physical tasks (lifting, bending, walking) throughout your shift
  • Reliable and able to work weekends and holidays – summer is our busiest time!
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is a bonus, but not required

Be the Face of Summer at the Lake!

As part of our Guest Services team, you’ll help create a smooth, enjoyable experience for every visitor – from check-in to check-out – while keeping our resort looking its best and feeling like home.

RATE OF PAY: $21.30/hour + TIPS

What You’ll Be Doing:
Front Desk Duties:

  • Greeting and checking in/out guests with warmth and efficiency
  • Handling bookings, payments, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Using our reservation/POS system (training provided)
  • Offering local recommendations and making guests feel at home
  • Responding to any guest concerns with a calm, problem-solving approach

Hotel Upkeep Duties:

  • Light tidying of common areas (lobby, lounge, front porch)
  • Stocking guest supplies and assisting with basic maintenance tasks
  • Supporting the housekeeping team with laundry or turnover as needed
  • Ensuring the front desk and guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and inviting
  • Laundry and organization of all linens and towels. 
  • Pitching in across departments to support the team as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, reception, or housekeeping is a plus – but not required
  • OSSD or equivalent
  • Friendly, professional, and a team player
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Available for a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable using computers and learning basic systems
  • Reliable transportation to and from our lakeside resort

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to our menu
  • Following safe food handling and kitchen hygiene practices (Food Handler Certificate required or willing to obtain)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar including but not limited to scheduling, serving, bartending, and guest management. 
  • Supporting and working alongside servers and bartenders during busy shifts
  • Training and scheduling staff, and stepping in to cover when needed
  • Making sure service is efficient, friendly, and meets our resort’s cottage country meets turn-down service, high-quality vibe
  • Handling guest concerns professionally and keeping things running smoothly
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff and resort leadership to ensure stock and great service from start to finish

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or bar setting
  • Smart Serve certified
  • OSSD or equivalent 
  • A positive, approachable leader who leads by example and keeps morale high
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
